Portuguese-language requirements depend on the applicant’s educational background and the applicable selection rules. Some candidates may enter the PEC-G directly when they meet the required Portuguese standard, while others may first follow the PEC-PLE Portuguese-language pathway before beginning undergraduate studies. The official edital for the relevant cycle determines the applicable requirement.
